Our mission is to improve the lives of under resourced youth in King, Pierce, and Snohomish Counties by increasing access and opportunities to sports in their schools.
Meet Our New Executive Director
Robert J. Turbin
Robert J. Turbin is a former NFL running back who played eight seasons with the Seattle Seahawks, Dallas Cowboys, and Indianapolis Colts. A fourth-round pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, he won a Super Bowl with the Seahawks in the 2013-14 season.
Turbin starred at Utah State University, earning academic honors in 2010 and 2011 before graduating with a Sociology degree in 2011 and an MBA from Indiana University in 2024. He was inducted into the Utah State Hall of Fame in 2022 and still holds multiple school records.
Beyond football, Turbin built a successful media career, hosting "The Turbo Show" on KUBE 93 in Seattle, co-hosting "Sports Locker" on WISH-TV in Indianapolis, and launching "Turbo Talk Live" on Twitch during the 2020 Super Bowl.
He is also a committed philanthropist, founding the Running4U Foundation in 2014 to support individuals with Multiple Sclerosis and Cerebral Palsy—a cause close to him due to his older sisters. His contributions earned him recognition, including being Grand Marshal of Fremont's 4th of July Parade (2017) and a certificate of appreciation in 2022. His high school, Irvington, retired his jersey in honor of his achievements.
Now a broadcaster, entrepreneur, and advisor, Turbin continues to inspire through sports, business, and community engagement. In 2021, he was granted Lordship in Cumbria, England, a personal favorite milestone.
Known for his strategic leadership and approachable nature, Turbin remains a respected figure in athletics, media, and philanthropy.
Glenn McCray will remain on until March 31st to ensure a smooth transition.
